Jest is a small and mighty, brightly coloured, abstract, hand-quilted patchwork. Measuring 132cm x 101cm, it’s suitable for a cot, a child’s bed or as a shawl, knee quilt. Alternatively, Jest would make a striking wallhanging.

This bold hand-stitched quilt uses the fabric of eleven repurposed Oxford cotton shirts (a slightly heavier cotton than traditional quilting fabrics) and comes complete with bamboo wadding. Bamboo wadding makes a lightweight quilt which can be used during the spring, summer and autumn months, or in winter as an extra layer over a duvet.

Jest is a reversible quilt. The back (or front if you’d prefer) uses the same bold colours in a larger block pattern. Jest has been machine pieced for strength then hand-quilted. This means all the visible stitches have been made by hand.

Jest would work well as a wallhanging if preferred. Simply choose the wallhanging option at checkout, and I will add a hanging loop at the back (for a curtain rod or pole).
